Cody + Vanessa are Engaged!

JD and I were thrilled when we found out that we would have the opportunity to photograph a truly sweet couple getting engaged.  Of course, it wasn't without it's laughable moments (she came out of the house before he had a chance to go in and stall for a few minutes so that we could make sure we were in place at his house before they arrived, the wind was so strong he had to remove the lanterns lining his driveway to the inside of the tent he had put up for the occasion...the important point being he put...up...a...TENT...with rockers, table, throws, lanterns...AMAZING, JD may or may not have hit a high snow drift and sacrificed himself to spare the camera equipment as he hid himself in the woods outside of the tent)...you get the idea!  All this to say it was still perfect and this past weekend we were able to participate in part two of their engagement story by meeting in Frankenmuth, Michigan, pictured below, to do their formal engagement shoot.  We had such fun and can't wait to share some pictures of our time together!
